This museum offers the history of California in a dazzling array of high-tech, multi-media displays and exhibits. The museum makes the subject of history an entertaining treat for the entire family. It uses interactive displays (including holograms) to depict the People, Place, Politics, and Promise of California in its four main galleries. A highlight of the museum in Sacramento is the display of the original California Constitution.

Admission: Adults $5; Children (6-13) $3.50; Children 5 and under are free; Seniors $4.
